Fees & Insurance

Online Therapy in Colorado
Do you take insurance?

I am currently in the process of becoming credentialed with Aetna and Optum insurance plans! I will provide updates here when that process is complete.

How much do you charge out of pocket?

If you do not use insurance you can pay out of pocket.

My fees are:

$150 for a 50 minute session

$210 for an 80 minute session

It is also possible for me to provide a specific type of receipt called a superbill for you to submit to your insurance if your plan offers out-of-network reimbursement.

You'll need to contact your insurance company to determine what out-of-network benefits you qualify for.

What forms of payment do you accept?

You can pay for your therapy sessions with a credit or debit card, HSA, or FSA. I'll collect a form of payment during the registration process and your card will automatically be charged after each session.

What to Expect

Holly Boulanger, LPC, EMDR Certified

What is online therapy like?

I am able to work with clients who reside anywhere in Colorado through online counseling, or telehealth. Before each session you will receive a unique link to my virtual office. All you have to do is find a private location where you feel comfortable to do therapy.

Do you see clients in person?

Yes! I have an office on Mondays at The Therapy Collective. The Therapy Collective is conveniently located in the Glendale neighborhood of Denver. The address is:

1325 S Colorado Blvd. Ste 410

Denver, CO 80222

How long will I have to be in therapy?

This is a very common question that doesn't have an easy answer. Typically, my clients work with me for a year or more, but it totally depends on you and your specific therapy goals.

How often will we meet for sessions?

I prefer to start new clients with weekly sessions. This allows us to build a trusting relationship, hone in on your goals, and hit the ground running toward making the changes you're looking for. In order to get the most out of our time together and for therapy to be really effective, I require at least every other week sessions.

Policies

*Note: when you register as a client with me you will be provided a full explanation of all of my policies. These are just a few that people frequently ask about.

Therapy for Women in Denver, Colorado

What if I need to cancel a session?

I require 24 hours notice to cancel a session with no charge. If you cancel a session with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged the full rate of the session. To help reduce the chance that you'll have to late-cancel, I send out appointment reminders 48 hours ahead so that you can double check your schedule.

When do you charge me for my session?

Sessions are charged to the form of payment on file immediately after the session is complete.

How do I get in touch with you?

There are many ways to reach me outside of session. You can call, email, or text or send an encrypted message through the client portal. Conversations outside of session should be limited to things like scheduling or billing questions.

What if I am in Crisis?

If you experience a mental health emergency, please do not reach out to me first. I do not have capacity to be available outside of our scheduled session time. I recommend all of my clients keep the Colorado Crisis Line saved to their phones. That phone number is 1-844-493-8255. You can also call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. If you miss a session due to a mental health crisis, I may be able to waive the late-cancel fee.
